| Name: Luke Gage Campbell Meaning: The male name 'Luke' is is derived from the name of a region in Italy, Lucania, through the Greek "Loukas", meaning "a native of Lucania". It was also the name of an early Christian leader, Luke the Evangelist, ensuring its immortality among the name pantheon. Evolutionary Anomaly Class: Elemental Radiation Manipulation - the ability to generate and manipulate various types of radiation. Though unpracticed in the usage of his ability, Luke has already been able to use it in a variety of different effects - he has melted plastic, boiled liquids, and fried pacemakers. He has not yet used this ability on a human being and does not know what effect it would have on a person. One constant of Luke's ability is that he must focus it through his hands - if he were handcuffed or otherwise bound, he would be unable to aim his power, and currently he cannot emit radiation through any other part of his body but his hands. Like Ted Sprague, Luke is immune to the effects of his own ability and external radioactive sources as well. Unlike Ted, Luke is not intristicly radioactive, nor does he lose control of his power when emotionally distressed. |
